Cyberwoven Wins Three ADDYs at the 2023 AAF Midlands Awards Gala
Cyberwoven Awarded Three Silver ADDYs for its Work with the Columbia Museum of Art and Schechter, a Michigan-based Wealth Advisory and Financial Services Firm
Columbia, SC (Mar. 2, 2023) - Cyberwoven, a full-service brand, marketing, and web agency, announces its win of three American Advertising Federation (AAF) Awards (ADDYs) at this year’s AAF Midlands Awards Gala. The agency won for its recent work with the Columbia Museum of Art and Michigan-based wealth advisory and financial services firm, Schechter. Cyberwoven took home two Silver ADDYs in the Online/Interactive and Cross Platform categories for the Columbia Museum of Arts’ ‘In the Shadow of Monet: Giverny and American Impressionism’ exhibit, as well as a Silver ADDY for the Elements of Advertising, Logo Design for Schechter.
“The ADDY Awards are one of the advertising industry's most prestigious honors, recognizing excellence in advertising and design,” said Ben Rex, CEO and founder of Cyberwoven. “We are honored to receive three Silver ADDYs at this year’s awards gala, as this recognition is a testament to the creativity and hard work of the entire Cyberwoven team.”
The Columbia Museum of Art’s ‘In the Shadow of Monet’ campaign was developed to create a digital experience that would evoke the emotions and aesthetics of the Impressionism era. Cyberwoven created a visually stunning campaign that featured a modern interpretation of Impressionist paintings, resulting in an immersive and engaging digital experience for visitors of all ages. The campaign garnered two Silver ADDY Awards, both in the Digital Advertising category.
The design of Schechter’s new logo resulted from a successful rebranding effort led by the firm’s Creative Director and Brand Team. Cyberwoven designed a logo that conveyed the firm's depth, scale, and dynamism in the industry as a leading wealth management firm. The new logo also provided a more disciplined and trustworthy look for the firm's marketing materials. The logo received a Silver ADDY Award in the Elements of Advertising, Logo Design category.
“Both the Impressionism campaign and Schechter logo design provided a unique set of challenges our team addressed head-on. We are extremely proud to have delivered outstanding results for our clients and these awards only inspire us to continue pushing the boundaries needed to create exceptional work for our clients," continues Rex.
To date, Cyberwoven has won several ADDYs including the 2021 National and Regional Gold ADDYs in the Online Interactive category for their work with GBH, PBS, and American Experience on She Resisted, as well as a 2020 Gold Online Interactive and Regional Online Interactive ADDY for Chasing the Moon, an interactive story detailing the successes and failures of Apollo Missions 1, 8, and 11.
This year’s American Advertising Awards gala occurred at Central Energy, located in Downtown Columbia’s growing Bull Street District.

About the American Advertising Awards:
Conducted annually by the American Advertising Federation, the American Advertising Awards is a three-tier, national competition, starting at the local level. Concurrently, across the country, local entrants vie to receive an ADDY Award—recognition as the very best in their markets. At the second tier, local ADDY winners compete against winners from other local clubs in one of 15 district competitions. District ADDY winners are then forwarded to the third tier, the American Advertising Awards national stage. Selection of the most creative entry in each category is affected by a scoring process in which a panel of judges evaluates all creative dimensions of every entry. A Gold ADDY is a recognition of the highest level of creative excellence and is judged to be superior to all other entries in the category. Entries also considered outstanding and worthy of recognition receive a Silver ADDY. The number of awards given in each category is determined by the judges and based on the relative quality of work in that category. Learn more at aaf.org.
