The Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History (The Wright), is located in the heart of downtown Detroit's Cultural Center. Founded in 1965, The Wright holds the world's largest permanent exhibit of African American culture, rivaled only by The Smithsonian’s National Museum of African American History & Culture. Cyberwoven worked with The Wright’s leadership to evolve its brand and web presence.

Dedicated to exploring and celebrating the rich cultural legacy of African Americans from around the world, the new website highlights the mission, vision, and world-renowned programming of the museum. The Wright’s site features simple wayfinding that showcases new and upcoming exhibitions, museum events, membership tiers, and educational opportunities.

This identity better showcases The Wright as a leader in the creation, distribution, and exhibition of world-class programs driven by excellence, relevancy, and technological innovation.

The Wright’s new website is a modern, accessible site that propels the organization’s vision and mission forward. Since the site’s launch, The Wright has seen a 107% increase to the 'Visit Us' page and a 66% increase in traffic to the 'Exhibitions' page in less than one year. Pages per session also increased by 14%, while the website’s bounce rate decreased by 11%.
