Situation

Cohn Development is a full-service real estate development firm that elevates people and places through its work. Through 30 years of relationships and successful ventures, the company has expanded from its deep roots in South Carolina to acquire holdings across the country. 

Originally a single webpage hidden within the corporate site, Cohn Development lacked a brand presence that reflected its reputation. In 2023, Cohn's leadership partnered with Cyberwoven to establish a new brand that would better represent who the company is and what they stand for.

A Blueprint for Success

Cyberwoven developed a visual identity system, microsite, and cohesive messaging that strengthens the brand in all of its customer-facing interactions. We capitalized on the proven track record in the company's portfolio to create a sophisticated microsite that showcases the firm's capabilities and success stories. 

Elements of the new logo were carried over to the microsite, informing the page design and layout to further strengthen the established brand's new look and feel. Importantly, the site also provides Cohn Development with an identity separate and distinct from its parent company, providing clarity to prospective partners, investors, and clients.

Laying a Solid Foundation

Through collaborative and fast-moving brand development and web projects, Cyberwoven crafted assets that aligned with the client's preferences and accurately reflected their purpose, mission, and vision. Together with key stakeholders from Cohn Development, our efforts included:

  • Establishing a style guide with fonts and colorways
  • Designing a new logo that positions the company for growth
  • Developing internal and external messaging 
  • Creating a microsite with a clear pathway to connect 
  • Furnishing the site with compelling content and imagery
  • Designing a new proposal system

Cohn Development now has a digital touchpoint with a strong SERP (search engine results page) presence and an inviting design. The new site captures the essence of the small—but national—team of developers. 

There is now a powerful identity and a clear, compelling story to be shared online, and, as Cohn Development continues to expand, their brand equity and overall relationship in this new space will too.
